The next stop was St Luka Serbian Orthodox Church in Liverpool, where Milos and Marijana exchanged their vows in a traditional Serbian Orthodox wedding ceremony.
For many Serbian families, an Orthodox church wedding is one of the most meaningful parts of the celebration. The religious traditions, beautiful church setting and presence of family members made this a particularly memorable occasion.
After the wedding ceremony, the celebrations continued with the christening of their son. Having both the wedding and christening take place on the same day made the occasion even more meaningful. It was not only a celebration of Milos and Marijana’s marriage, but also an important family milestone for their young son.
Another memorable moment was seeing the Serbian and Australian flags being waved during the celebrations. It was a lovely expression of cultural heritage and family identity, bringing together their Serbian background and life in Australia.

Following the church ceremony and christening, everyone headed to Paradiso in Liverpool for the wedding reception.
